For over 25 years Viv has worked as a business executive and a community leader in corporate, community and government settings to help organisations advance their social objectives. She has held roles at the AustChoice Financial Services, AMP Asset Management and ANZ Banking Group where she led the global organisation’s diversity strategy. In 2021, she became a member of the Order of Australia for significant service to the multicultural community of Victoria, and was selected to join Victoria’s first Anti-Racism Taskforce to help inform and drive the state’s Anti-Racism Strategy. And in 2002 Viv was recorded on the Victorian Honour Roll for advocating for women in leadership and working with Vietnamese young people. Along with her corporate career, Viv’s community activities span many different cultures to provide input into public policy on asylum seekers, civic engagement, participation and human rights. She was appointed Chairperson of the VMC in 2019.
